Event description:

We created the program of the event and the materials that were to inform the students about the study at the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies of the Czech Technical University in Prague.

The Adaptation Period included:

• A festive meeting with the representatives of the partner institution from China and with the newly arrived students who came to study at MIAS as part of the joint bachelor’s program
• A meeting with the employees of the International Department of the Czech Technical University in Prague.
• The Campus Tour (we took the students around the campus of the university and showed them everything they needed to know for their studies, including the CTU Card Office, the National Technical Library and the university canteen).
• A BBQ with all the new foreign students at the university.
• The matriculation in the Bethlehem Chapel.
• The Adaptation Day full of games and presentations related to the study at MIAS.
• The enrollment in the study.
• Assistance with:
  • the creation of a bank account,

The objectives of the Adaptation Period were to:

• get to know the university, the teachers and the non-academic staff,
• take the vow of the university student in the Bethlehem Chapel at the matriculation ceremony,
• meet new friends from all over the world,
• gain awareness of the Czech higher education system.
